What jobs are available?

Camp Counselors: A camp counselor oversees his or her dorm of six to eight campers. They are the key people working directly with the students ensuring that they have fun, stay safe and have a positive experience at camp.

Golf Counselor/Assistant/Professional: Golf counselors are directly responsible for looking after groups of golf students. A Golf Counselors’ main responsibility is to ensure the safety of the students, improving all aspects of their game, whilst making certain students have fun while doing this. Handicap 5 or less is essential. Qualified PGA, EGTF coaches are required to lead small teams of three. Strong leadership skills are required.

You must be 18 years old by the 1st of June of the year you plan to travel/work.
You must be available to travel/work from early/mid June through to mid/late August.
You must be able to speak fluent English.
You must have a passport that is valid until the end of the year in which you wish to travel.
US law requires you to take out health insurance on a J-1 visa and it requires that you disclose any pre existing medical conditions for it to be valid. You must have no criminal convictions. They will be required to provide an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB); this is a criminal record check. We will assist you with this if you don't have one already.
You must demonstrate a strong and sincere desire to work with young students from diverse backgrounds.
Able to provide previous experience and strong leadership qualities.
Dedicated to work for the minimum 8-week camp staff commitment.
You should be adventurous, outgoing, a team player and hard working.
